Description

Lead the strategic development and implementation of robust technology resilience frameworks and practices across GCC India, ensuring business continuity and operational stability against disruptive events.

VP, Technology Resilience

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute the overall technology resilience strategy, roadmap, and policies for GCC India, aligning with global standards and local regulations.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BC), and crisis management plans for critical IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Lead execution of efforts to ensure timely management of certificates, patching, and vulnerabilities.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive technology risk assessment and management framework, identifying potential vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and manage a team of resilience specialists, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and IT teams to embed resilience considerations into all new projects, systems, and processes.
  • Develop and conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees on technology resilience best practices.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure their resilience capabilities meet GCC India’s standards.
  • Report on the status of technology resilience programs and incident response to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in resilience capabilities through post-incident reviews, industry best practices, and emerging threats analysis.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years in a leadership role focused on technology resilience, disaster recovery, or business continuity planning.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing large-scale technology resilience programs within a complex enterprise environment, preferably in the financial services or a heavily regulated industry.
  • Deep understanding of industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL, and COBIT.
  • Strong knowledge of various IT infrastructure components, cloud technologies, cybersecurity principles, and data management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a global organization with exposure to diverse regulatory environments.
