Description

Leadership and Strategy: Lead the HR Operations and HRIS teams in the design and implementation of process improvements and ongoing enhancements related to the employee lifecycle.

VP, Shared services

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR Shared Services strategy, integrating best practices, and analyzing HR process effectiveness.
  • Serve as an expert on HR processes, policies, and practices
  • Analyze HR data for efficiency and data-driven decisions
  • Partner with HR teams to improve HR processes and automation
  • Manage HR systems (SuccessFactors, etc.) for process streamlining and enhanced employee experience
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Lead, motivate an build capabilities of the HR Shared Services team, setting SLAs and ensuring success
  • Provide necessary communication and training to end users to increase their effectiveness and ability to use HR systems and tools

Qualification & Requirements

  • 4-year degree in HR or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 years in HR operations or HR related role, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Must have thorough understanding of compliance for laws and regulations regarding employment practices and general/leading HR practices
  • Strong knowledge of change management, organizational development, and compliance
  • Experience with a tiered Shared Services model, including employee and manager self-service, shared services ticketing systems with SLAs, and the use of metrics, measurements and goal setting for the team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and process efficiency
  • Experience with SuccessFactors and other HR tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and business writing skills
  • Global HR experience is a plus
