Description

As the VP, Global Benefits for SAP, you will be responsible for strategizing, designing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and communicating effectively with employees and stakeholders across the business. You will ensure SAP’s benefits programs align to SAP’s strategy by enabling the success of its workforce through competitive benefits programs.

A team of dedicated benefits professionals will report into you, so you will also be responsible for coaching, managing, and supporting your team. You will report into the Head of Global Total Rewards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and Implement Best Practices: Identify and implement industry best practices to support the global benefits strategy. Develop high-impact, cost-effective solutions that ensure efficient and effective management of global benefits.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in regard to benefit vendors and other agencies.
  • Partner with local stakeholders to ensure programs effectively address localized needs and develop tailored solutions where needed for local jurisdictions
  • Develop effective tools and communications to drive further adoption of programs across the workforce
  • Leverage analytics to evaluate and determine success of SAP’s programs by reviewing costs, adoption, usage, and survey results.
  • Ensure strong integration of all benefits systems and processes for accurate reporting and increased efficiency

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or a related field, with a strong focus on Total Rewards for technology & product roles.
  • Strong understanding of wellbeing programs, including physical, mental & emotional, financial, and social program offerings.
  • Expert understanding of industry standards on cost and operational efficiency, with a strong expertise in Benefit programs’ impact to the business’ financials and strategic plans.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
