Earlier this year, building on the reliable foundation of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as a fund manager, we introduced an optimized CIP Platform, with three platform companies providing services to CIP. To learn more, please refer to the CIP Platform section below. In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Fund Solutions – platform delivery company providing complex fund management and investment services – is currently looking for VP Finance, Global Capability Center, to join our office in Gurugram (Gurgaon) India.

As Vice President, you will lead a capable team of newly established Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. You will be scaling up a skilled team of finance professionals.

In this role you will manage the Finance & Accounting function for the newly established GCC in India. You will be instrumental in building an inclusive and scalable organization that aligns with our global vision while catering to local needs. This role is pivotal in setting up and scaling the finance operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and delivering high-quality financial services to internal stakeholders across regions (EMEA, Americas, LATAM, APAC). The role requires a strategic leader with solid skills in financial control, planning, compliance, and transformation within a shared service or GCC environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall Finance function at the GCC, providing strategic oversight and operational direction across all sub-processes (CTR, PTP, OTC)
  • Working with the executive team and team leaders you will own all Finance & Accounting functions and related activities
  • Ensure process integrity, compliance, and standardization across finance operations. Oversee financial control, accounting, and reporting activities, ensuring alignment with group policies and timelines
  • Build on the existing setup where junior and managerial resources have already been hired across CTR, PTP, OTC
  • Identify process gaps, design controls, and introduce best practices to enhance the current operating model
  • Ensure seamless month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in partnership with the local and global teams
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations, including automation and standardization opportunities
  • Manage or support finance transformation projects and ensure readiness, focusing on investment vehicles
  • Partner with the global transformation team to develop and implement scalable financial processes
  • Collaborate with global and regional finance leads to align on governance, performance metrics, and reporting standards
  • Engage with business stakeholders on the ongoing business case development for Phase 2 and support key financial analyses
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the GCC finance team, ensuring capability development and performance alignment
  • Support the preparation and scaling of the investment vehicle’s structure
  • Work closely with local and global finance teams to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with the broader business objectives
  • Develop financial contingency plans and ensure business continuity in case of disruptions or global financial volatility.

Qualification & Requirements

We are looking for motivated induvial with 15-18 minimum years in comprehensive operational finance and controllership background within GCC’s. You hold a master’s degree or CA/CPA/CMA in a relevant field and extensive experience in finance transformation, process design, and setup/migration of finance functions. You have had strong exposure to investment vehicle structures or similar financial operations, effective stakeholder management, leadership, and project execution skills.

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and writing and have great communication skills

  • Advanced understanding of global financial regulations and compliance.
