Description
The employer is a well-established organisation operating within the industrial/manufacturing sector. It has a strong presence in the APAC region and is known for delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions to its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end regional finance management, covering commercial sales operations, manufacturing plants, supply chain, and shared services.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, driving financial performance, cost optimisation, and value creation across all business units.
- Oversee regional FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, ensuring robust financial governance and accuracy.
- Strengthen commercial decision‑making through rigorous pricing analysis, margin management, working capital optimisation, and ROI assessment of investment proposals.
- Provide financial leadership across regional manufacturing operations, ensuring product costing, plant performance metrics, inventory controls, and operational KPIs are well‑managed.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performance finance team across multiple countries.
- Represent APAC finance at the global level with strong executive presence, influencing group-wide initiatives and driving alignment.
Qualification & Requirements
- Proven track record as a senior finance leader (e.g., Finance Director, VP Finance) within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or related sectors.
- Strong experience managing complex regional operations, including both commercial sales structures and manufacturing entities.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, comfortable working closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and GM-level stakeholders.
- Operationally hands-on with the ability to deep dive when necessary, while still operating effectively at strategic and executive levels.
- Experienced in managing transformation, process improvement, and strengthening financial controls across multi‑country environments.
- Excellent communication skills, executive maturity, and the ability to influence across cultures.
