Description

The Vice President of Shared Services is a senior executive leader responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of multiple high impact business lines across Inhabit’s vacation rental technology and services portfolio. This role owns and scales a $20M+ multi P&L portfolio spanning Professional Services and SaaS Operations, ensuring that people, processes, and platforms operate as a unified, efficient, and customer centric ecosystem.

This leader oversees Managed Digital Marketing Services, Managed Revenue Management Services, and SaaS Operations for market leading platforms including RevMax, Bluetent Boost, and NGN. Success in this role requires a sophisticated operator who can balance product strategy with service delivery excellence maximizing billable utilization, driving margin expansion, and ensuring that service models and platform capabilities evolve in lockstep.

The Vice President of Shared Services also serves as a key driver of innovation across the organization, leading the identification and adoption of AI driven tools, automation frameworks, and data intelligence capabilities that enhance both product performance and operational efficiency. This role plays a central part in shaping Inhabit’s long term growth strategy by modernizing workflows, scaling teams, optimizing workforce capacity, and ensuring that technology and services deliver measurable value to vacation rental managers at scale.

Location: Chandler, AZ (4 days in office 1 day work from home); We have an in-office work style, with most team members working in the office from Monday to Thursday and remotely on Friday

Vice President of Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Strategy

  • Set and execute the multi year strategic vision for Shared Services, aligning Professional Services and SaaS operations with Inhabit’s broader corporate objectives.
  • Act as a senior thought partner to executive leadership on growth strategy, technology investments, pricing models, and organizational design.
  • Drive alignment and collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.

Innovation, Automation & AI Enablement

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and adoption of AI driven tools, automation frameworks, and data intelligence capabilities that enhance both product performance and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to embed AI into core SaaS platforms (RevMax, Boost, NGN) and managed services workflows (Digital Marketing, Revenue Management).
  • Champion a culture of innovation by driving experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous improvement across all service and technology teams.
  • Build scalable, automated processes that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate customer time to value. Demand Channel Strategy & Execution.
  • Provide executive oversight for the Demand Channel initiative, ensuring alignment across Product, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Distribution teams.
  • Drive the integration of demand generation capabilities into both SaaS platforms and managed services offerings.
  • Ensure the Demand Channel strategy enhances customer acquisition, booking performance, and overall revenue outcomes for clients.

P&L Ownership & Financial Performance

  • Own P&L responsibility across multiple business units representing $20M+ in annual revenue
  • Establish and manage budgets, forecasts, revenue targets, cost structures, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to drive growth and improve profitability through strong go to market, expansion and retention strategies, pricing strategy, automation, and operational efficiency.

Professional Services Leadership

  • Lead Managed Services teams delivering Digital Marketing and Revenue Management solutions to vacation rental operators.
  • Maintain an exceptional focus on billable effectiveness, utilization rates, capacity planning, and delivery quality.
  • Design scalable service models that balance growth, client outcomes, and margin discipline.
  • Ensure services are measurable, repeatable, and tightly integrated with SaaS offerings.

SaaS Operations Oversight

  • Provide executive oversight for SaaS platforms including:
    • RevMax Revenue Management Software
    • Bluetent Boost Channel Management & Distribution
    • NGN Website & Digital Experience Platform
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to prioritize roadmaps that drive customer value, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure operational readiness across implementation, support, and ongoing platform performance.
  • Serve as the executive bridge between Product Strategy and Professional Services, ensuring that service delivery, customer insights, and platform capabilities evolve in lockstep.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product requirements, influencing roadmap prioritization and long term platform strategy.
  • Ensure that Professional Services offerings reinforce product adoption, retention, and expansion, creating a unified customer experience across technology and services.

Organizational Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop senior leaders across Shared Services, fostering accountability, transparency, and high performance.
  • Build a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross functional collaboration.
  • Ensure teams are structured to scale efficiently while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
  • Own workforce planning, staffing models, and capacity forecasting across all Shared Services teams to ensure the right mix of skills, bandwidth, and utilization to meet demand.
  • Implement scalable resourcing frameworks that align staffing levels with revenue targets, service demand, and margin goals

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in Professional Services, SaaS, Digital Marketing and/or Revenue Management environments.
  • Proven experience owning and scaling multi P&L portfolios with $20M+ in revenue.
  • Strong professional services / managed services experience, with deep understanding of billable services economics, utilization modeling, and margin optimization.
  • Experience leading cross functional teams across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Services.
  • Background in the Vacation Rental, Hospitality, Travel, or PropTech space preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a PE backed, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute through change, consolidation, and rapid growth in a fast paced environment.
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
