Description
Akin is seeking a Vice President of Quality & Administrative Services!
Key Responsibilities
Akin works to disrupt systemic and multi-generational cycles of inequity by partnering with children, families, and communities to transform population-level health and well-being. From prenatal to adulthood, prevention to intervention, our programs and services are built on over a century of helping create nurturing environments and systemic improvements for families in Washington.
Akin is the product of the 2024 merger between two of Washington state’s most impactful family services organizations, Childhaven and Children’s Home Society of Washington. With our combined experience and reach, we’re now able to offer expanded services, elevated connection, and more comprehensive wraparound support for Washington state families and their communities.
Qualification & Requirements
- BA or BS degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, data analytics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of professional analytics experience leading Data Analytics, IT, Business Intelligence, or combination thereof.
- 10+ years of progressive management and leadership experience, with a minimum five years’ senior leadership experience supervising seasoned technical and business-oriented staff across multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of national accreditation processes required (CARF, COA and Joint Commission are acceptable)
- Experience with developing and leading teams in a shared services business model across multiple locations and designing scalable operations across multiple teams and/or businesses.
- Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to create, implement, and monitor complex plans and translate those plans into goals and concrete strategies.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and Electronic Health Record systems (EHR) required.
- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous quality improvement plans and processes enterprise wide.
Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated executive leadership experience in non-profit, human services, or mission-driven organization
- SQL knowledge
