Description

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) to support our Americas Commercial Business. This region drives $1.3B of Dentsply Sirona’s $4B revenue and has 1,500 employees. This strategic HR leader will drive HR initiatives and deliver best-in-class HR services to support the North American and Latin American (LatAm) regions. This key role will partner with commercial leaders to drive business execution by aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Serve as the senior HR leader for Dentsply Sirona’s Americas Commercial Business (North America and LatAm), providing strategic direction and leadership to the HR and commercial teams.
  • Talent Driver: Be a transformational change agent with the commercial leadership team to drive robust talent reviews, upgrade talent, and improve the skills and capabilities of the commercial team.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster a culture of high performance, engagement, inclusion, and implement programs and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Organizational Design: Lead organizational change and design, ensuring the alignment of structure and talent strategies with business needs to drive growth and scalability.
  • Compensation and Benefits Strategy: Collaborate with Total Rewards and Compensation teams to deliver competitive and equitable compensation and benefits strategies across the Americas, driving retention and performance.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and adherence to global best practices.
  • Employee Relations: Address complex employee relations issues, working closely with business leaders to ensure positive employee experiences and resolutions.
  • Leadership Coaching & Development: Provide guidance and support to senior leaders and managers in building leadership capabilities, enhancing their effectiveness, and cultivating a results-driven culture.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Partner with Talent Acquisition to analyze workforce needs and growth projections to adequately plan for expansion.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Utilize available data and analytics to measure business unit trends and patterns, and provide insights to commercial leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with COEs: Work closely with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Talent Management to execute HR strategies that are aligned with business priorities and enterprise goals.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role supporting large commercial organizations.
  • Proven experience in leading HR strategy for large, complex, multinational organizations.
  • Expertise in talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and compensation and benefits.
  • Deep understanding of the HR landscape in North America and Latin America, including cultural nuances, labor laws, and market trends.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to partner with senior leaders to drive business results through effective people strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel as required (approximately 20-30%).
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in other COE HR areas, such as compensation and talent development.
