We are looking for a strategic finance executive with sharp analytical capabilities, a pragmatic mindset, and the agility to lead through complexity and change. You should be a compelling communicator, able to foster cross-functional collaboration across geographies and challenge senior leadership constructively—including our Managing Directors, CEO, and CFO.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

  • Lead and evolve the functions of Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Controlling across the group.
  • Define and implement long-term financial strategies, optimizing capital allocation and driving sustainable growth.
  • Transform and mentor the current Controlling team to align with strategic business goals.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Drive financial steering of the organization, promoting a business-oriented, consultative mindset.
  • Act as a trusted partner to business units, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Execution & Reporting

  • Oversee group-wide planning, controlling, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual accounts for over 30 global subsidiaries.
  • Define and implement key KPIs to monitor and manage business performance.

Operational Excellence

  • Set and monitor group-wide financial targets and develop measures to achieve them.
  • Support company-wide initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations for the Management Board and other committees.

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Enhance monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the global ERP and finance IT landscape, ensuring consistency and compliance.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Analyze and optimize key financial metrics, processes, and infrastructure.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with external partners including auditors, tax advisors, and banks.

Qualification & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years in financial leadership, including Controlling and FP&A roles.
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role in a tech/SaaS or high-growth environment.

Skills & Expertise

  • Deep understanding of finance IT tools (e.g., S/4HANA).
  • Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS.
  • Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing, distributed teams.
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with strong change management and transformation capabilities.
  • Experience advising and partnering with business units and markets.
