Description
The Transformation Lead – Digital & Information reports to the NEO Service Implementation Lead and the UKSBS CDIO and is responsible for managing UKSBS’ Technology Functional input into the new Target Operating Model design, assessing the TOM related change impact and supporting its implementation into Digital & Information. The Transformation Lead – Digital & Information is also responsible for coordinating UKSBS’ contribution to the wider Automation and Tooling Strategy and Implementation as part of the Service Excellence focussed transformation effort.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the Technology functional input by UKSBS into the new Target operating Model Design, as well as the technology related input into the Automation and Tooling strategy, design and implementation effort
- Taking ownership of the accurate assessment of the anticipated change impact of the new Target operating Model design on our Technology Function (D&I)
- Responsible for the effective implementation of the new Target Operating Model into Digital & Information working closely with related Leadership
- Working in close collaboration with the Programme Manager and the PMO in the planning as well as accurate and timely reporting of programme delivery activities and outcomes against agreed KPIs
- Ensuring adherence to agreed compliance and data security standards and policies across their teams
- Providing effective and emphatic leadership for the UKSBS SMEs and Teams involved in the new TOM Design and Implementation effort creating a psychologically safe and stimulating learning environment that supports the personal and professional development of our people
Qualification & Requirements
- Extensive work experience with Technology Implementation and Optimization incl. ERP Implementation, Automation & Digital Tooling
- A strong people manager with team performance management experience
- Proven track record of experience with Alternative Managed Service support design and management in both ‘on premise’ and cloud hosted environments
- Demonstrable experience of working in a Shared Services environment in either an Operations, Continuous Improvement or Technology function including Technology Functional Design and Capability Development
- In-depth knowledge of working with Programme/ Project management methodologies and tools in support of planning, activity & KPI tracking and reporting
- A track record of supporting change initiatives and driving successful outcomes
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- In-depth working knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- First class written and oral communication skills
- A mature sense of accountability for outcomes
