Description
The Training Director is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs for security personnel, ensuring compliance with PNP-SOSIA, TESDA, and DOLE regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development & Compliance
- Design and oversee training modules for security guards, supervisors, and specialized units.
- Ensure compliance with PNP-SOSIA, TESDA, and DOLE training standards.
- Develop and update training materials based on the latest security threats, laws, and best practices.
- Implement firearms handling, emergency response, customer service, and crisis management training.
Training Execution & Supervision
- Conduct classroom training, hands-on drills, and scenario-based exercises.
- Supervise trainers, instructors, and training officers.
- Monitor and evaluate trainees’ performance, ensuring they meet competency standards.
- Organize refresher courses and continuous learning programs for security staff.
Certification & Accreditation
- Ensure all security personnel receive proper certification and licensing.
- Work with PNP-SOSIA, TESDA, and other regulatory agencies to secure accreditation for training programs.
- Maintain proper documentation of training records and certifications for audits and compliance checks.
Recruitment & Screening Assistance
- Assist in sourcing and selecting candidates from the pool of training school students.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze training outcomes and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Introduce modern training methods, including e-learning, simulations, and tactical drills.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Criminology, Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security training, law enforcement, or military service.
- Strong knowledge of PNP-SOSIA regulations, security operations, and crisis management.
- TESDA accreditation or a certified Training Officer license is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting hands-on training.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work experience in a security agency or private security training institution.
- Familiarity with firearms training, self-defense techniques, and emergency response protocols.
- Experience developing corporate security, VIP protection, and crowd control training programs.
