Sr Manager, Finance Controlling Gross Margin

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business partners: demand planning, supply chain, brand controllers
  • Lead month closing and Trend / Budget preparation for Gross Margin, with a sustainable profit improvement mindset. Including development of Cost of Goods, Tariff’s, Operational FX, Royalties, E&O, etc) by product
  • Drive profitable growth by providing analysis and deep dive gross margin analytics related to channel mix, product mix, pricing impacts, currency Impacts, and Excess and Obsolete, that will enable strategic decisions.
  • Provide executive summary commentary, expert data storytelling, launch analysis and performance
  • Participation in group and local financial projects to improve processes
  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to gross margin, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure the team’s alignment with overall business objectives and support their professional development

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Finance or Accounting preferred
  • 6-8 years of Finance or Accounting experience required
  • 5 years of experience leading and developing teams
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience required, with previous P&L experience
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic awareness
  • Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
