Description
New Honeywell is embarking on a significant organizational transformation. As a part of this transformation, Honeywell Finance is standing up a Global Business Service (GBS) organization that will span multiple geographies and eventually be responsible for end-to-end finance delivery activities (R2R, P2P, Tax, Treasury, and business finance including commercial, ISC, BAP etc). The Sr Director of Transformation for GBS Finance is a critical leadership role that will support the stand-up and effective functioning of the organization and will report to VP of GBS Finance.
You will be a strategic, senior-level change agent who will drive major initiatives to evolve and optimize shared service operations to provide value, scale, agility and innovation. This role involves leading major initiatives to redesign and optimize processes, deploy innovative technologies, and mature the GBS operating model to deliver enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic value. The leader will act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders and a key change agent for the enterprise. Immediate focus will be on developing effective Service Level Agreements that tie to Key Performance indicators for the various GBS functions using baselining workshops and VSMs (Value Stream Mapping). In parallel, you will work with IT and Finance Digital Office to drive effective automation and AI projects during the re-design. You will liaison with the GBS function and various stakeholders and customers to establish effective change management routines. You will also take the lead in re-engineering and continuously improving finance processes to constantly unlock further efficiencies and scale.
You will be expected to work from the office on a hybrid work schedule with travel to global hubs as required. This opportunity will work out of our Global Finance Center in Bangalore, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and govern the GBS transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and business objectives.
- Establish and maintain program management office (PMO) frameworks, standards, and governance processes for all transformation initiatives.
- Drive end-to-end business process re-engineering and standardization across GBS Functions
- Lead the adoption of advanced technology and automation, including intelligent automation (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), process mining, and workflow platforms.
- Partner with IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions that optimize GBS operations.
- Lead comprehensive change management programs to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technology.
- Communicate regularly and transparently with stakeholders regarding the progress, benefits, and challenges of transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the portfolio of transformation projects, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Establish a framework for continuous improvement and foster a culture of operational excellence within GBS.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure the success of transformation efforts.
Qualification & Requirements
You must have
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or a related field is required.
- 10–15 years of experience in Shared Services, GBS, or transformation leadership roles within a large, global organization.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex business transformations and migrations.
