Description

We are looking for a Global Sr. Director of Time Reporting, Payroll & Stock Services to manage our Time Reporting, Payroll & Stock Services teams, made up of 35 employees across 3 regions, while concurrently transforming our global Time Reporting and Payroll systems.

Sr. Director, Time Reporting, Payroll & Stock Services

Key Responsibilities

As the leader of this Time Reporting, Payroll & Stock Services transformation, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of time keeping responsibilities globally, including 20+ countries currently managed by Human Resources, largely on a manual basis
  • Implementation of a global time keeping system over the course of 3 – 4 years, including a scheduling system for use by our Operations teams (and other add-on systems they may wish in the future). Integration with Workday and and changes thereafter, and integration with the company’s new Benefex benefits system
  • Conversion of approximately 20 countries, over the next 3 – 4 years, onto the ADP Celergo platform for payroll processing purposes, ensuring integration with Workday and the new global Workforce time keeping system
  • Ensure the payroll platforms properly tax and report benefits from the new Benefex system being implemented globally over the next 4 years by HR, including the consequences of a “Flexwallet” in many of our jurisdictions
  • Coordination of the above across Finance, HR, IT, and Operations, ensuring all time and pay system implementations are accurately completed on time and on budget
  • Coordination with Operations on additional system requirements impacting Time and/or Pay, which they may wish to add in the future
  • Training of all employees and managers globally on the functionality and benefits of the new time keeping system
  • Assistance with training of Operations managers on the use of the new scheduling, and other future modules
  • The institution of proper controls both internally financially, and externally with ADP and Workforce, our global time system, with respect to information security
  • Organization of your team in the most efficient manner to accomplish the above noted transformations, as well as management of the ongoing operations of Time Reporting, Payroll and Stock Services as noted below

In addition, you and your team will be responsible to ensure:

  • Timely and accurate payment to global employees
  • Data is maintained with the utmost fiduciary care and privacy
  • Payroll-related audits are conducted, as required
  • Timely development and implementation of any other system upgrade strategies and automation improvements
  • Accurate accounting and accruals of compensation and commissions
  • Management of local laws, union and policy changes in countries and metros
  • Paid Time Off, Leave of Absences, and hourly timecards are processed properly, in partnership with HR and other functions
  • Alignment to other system implementations/upgrades by Human Resources Shared Services
  • Timely response to Human Resources Shared Services requests/inquiries
  • Accurate accounting and accruals of our time management, PTO & RSU’s programs
  • Management of our ESPP program for in-scope countries
  • Partner cross-functionally in Proxy, Annual Meetings, and 10(b)(5) executive plan’s activities and initiatives
  • Accurate and successful proxy filings
  • Management of the Annual Meeting, in conjunction with Legal
  • Proper management of our RSU/ESPP programs, 10(b)(5) executive plans, and Board compensation
  • Periodic refreshes of our RSU plans with shareholder approval
  • Any other changes to our stock plans, such as the addition of fractional stock shares and/or a stock split

  • Lead global team of 30+ payroll employees, in 3 regions, with staff in multiple countries
  • Develop next level leaders
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Operations and IT leadership on employee experience, automation, and policy enhancement resolutions

Qualification & Requirements

  • Management of concurrent, dependent global system transformations/implementations across multiple functions
  • Time Reporting, Payroll and Stock Services expertise in a global company with a significant hourly employee population
  • A combination of Tech and Real Estate knowledge
  • REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) complexity knowledge ideal
  • Global employment regulations, laws, and policies expertise, including unions
  • Experience converting from manual to automated processes transactions; use of Robotic Process Automation (Bots)
  • Acquisition experience in emerging markets
  • Leading at scale, across functions and geographies
  • Systems thinking and process improvement mindset
  • Driving teams to accountable outcomes
