This global Human Resources position is a key member of our Operating Companies’ (OpCo) senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the overall people strategy for the OpCo in support of Veralto’s and the OpCo’s strategic goals. The position reports directly to the OpCo president and partners with the president and senior leadership team (L1 team) in driving strategic business decisions and providing leadership on people-related solutions such as organization assessment & design, talent planning, associate engagement/retention, DE&I, and culture. Through the use of our Veralto Enterprise System (VES), the HR Leader will drive excellence and value through the appropriate and consistent use of VES tools, leading to a highly motivated, productive, and engaged workforce. The role may be remote, hybrid, or on-site depending on the specific needs of the business.
This role offers the opportunity to not only lead a vital dynamic operating company but to also be involved in the larger enterprise HR community. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Leverage data & VOC to identify the most pressing OpCo opportunities and challenges.
- Develop the OpCo talent and organization in line with the business strategy, VLTO HR priorities, and programs. Drive the execution of closing any of the identified gaps using applicable VES tools.
- Drive daily management and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Be the change leader for the organization.
Talent Developer
- Lead the VLTO organization and talent processes with [insert OpCo]. You will thoroughly know the talent, advocate, and champion talent moves, support the development of future leaders, cultivate and attract external candidates.
- Cultivate and develop the HR team enabling strong business performance.
Consultant & Coach
- Based on a deep understanding of the business (including talent and organizational priorities), provide strategic counsel to the President and the L1 team.
- Ensure compliance with employee-related local law, HR & Company policies. Champion VLTO/OpCo culture and set the tone to foster positive associate relations.
Employee Advocate
Qualification & Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15 years of HR leadership experience in diverse industries (tech, healthcare, and manufacturing).
- Prior global experience with a geographically dispersed workforce, including remote managers and direct reports.
- Work as a trusted advisor and influencer who can convey complex concepts, provide clear advice, and stand firm in the face of challenges to persuade the right, sometimes tough decisions.
- Build high-performing, diverse, inclusive, and engaged teams that are aligned with the business priorities.
- Lead functional strategies to support large-scale organizational change including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, entry into new markets, and other business transformations.
- Develop talent to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders.
Preferred
- Leading sub-functions within HR (Shared Services or Center of Excellence).
- Leading a digitally evolved function – informed on technology advancements that support the function and drive automation.
Travel requirements: This role requires traveling (international) 25% minimum.
Benefits
- The compensation range for this role is $200,000 – $230,000 USD per year.
- This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
