Key Responsibilities
As Shared Services Payroll Lead (APAC), you’ll take full ownership of payroll operations as a sole contributor, managing end-to-end payroll delivery for multiple regions. This includes handling manufacturing workforce payroll, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain seamless operations and uphold data security standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full payroll cycles and vendor relationships
- Operational payroll management under SSC model
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Preparing audit-ready reports and maintaining payroll systems
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiency
- Supporting knowledge transfer and setting up payroll shared services processes
Qualification & Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in payroll processing and vendor management
- Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate effectively with China-based stakeholders
- Experience handling manufacturing workforce payroll
- Proven track record in Shared Services Center (SSC) payroll delivery
- Vendor management experience (such as ADP, and other vendors)
- Experience in knowledge transfer and SSC setup is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field
- Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems
