Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Shared Services and Banking Ops to support the Product and End of Day Pricing Fleet, leading the Wealth Management End of Day Change Bank; Pricing initiatives, Product Strategy and Data Adjacency Attribute program.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Strategic Specialist position at Vice President level within Core Services.

Shared Services Operations Vice President

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee complex process management and change efforts, developing and implementing business plan and strategic vision for a group of specialists or varied specialist functions within allocated budget
  • Address highly complex or time sensitive business matters, leveraging relationships across functional groups to define and deliver solutions
  • Manage multiple projects/products simultaneously with accountability for risks associated with delivery and execution of the project/program, engaging with internal and / or external stakeholders in the decision-making process and managing relationships with partners across the organization
  • Support the Fleet strategy to meet existing business outcomes
  • Acquire an intricate knowledge of the Firm’s product data flow, flow of the data in the firm systems, impact of poor data quality, and building the ability to understand the wider environment and question data integrity
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
  • Prior process improvement, business analysis and project management experience
  • Experience defining business requirements, managing and executing testing activities
  • Obtain a clear understanding of business analysis approaches and concepts

Qualification & Requirements

  • Broad understanding across multiple processes, systems and markets in addition to detailed subject matter expertise of various key products/processes
  • Role model that advocates for your team, motivates and engages staff to achieve vision and inspire respect; supports and promotes the Firm’s vision and values
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
  • Prior process improvement, business analysis and project management experience
  • Experience defining business requirements, managing and executing testing activities

The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
