Description
The client Ascendo is working with is looking for a Sr. Manager to lead the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) departments. In this role, you will oversee the efficient and accurate management of cash disbursement and cash application processes for multiple locations across the U.S. You will be responsible for managing AP and AR transactions, ensuring reconciliation with the general ledger, and improving internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage month-end reconciliations for trade and intercompany accounts.
- Improve and document AP processes, including cash disbursements.
- Supervise and mentor the AP and AR team, driving performance.
- Work with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and manage inquiries.
Qualification & Requirements
- 8+ years of AP/AR or financial operations experience.
- 5+ years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, with SAP experience preferred.
