Description

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on finance leader to manage our day-to-day financial operations. As our new Shared Services Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and financial admin. You will play a key part in strengthening our financial systems, and drive process improvements and efficiencies across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of day-to-day finance services including accounts payable, receivable, and reporting, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with internal controls, audit requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Act as a problem-solver and escalation point for service-related issues.
  • Support the implementation of system upgrades and organisational change initiatives impacting Shared Services.
  • Ensure the management reports are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Review data inputs and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure reliability of reported figures.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, templates, and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the shared service team to deliver high-quality support.
  • Develop and manage a culture of process improvement and customer service and ensure compliance with all relevant organisational policies and procedures.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 15 years+ experience in a Finance leadership role, including management of general Finance and Accounts Payable functions.
  • Experience with Finance System D365 and knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
  • Ownership and oversight of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLookUps, expertise working with large and complex spreadsheets and superior presentation skills.
  • Experience in people leadership and forming/strengthening teams in diverse workplaces.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving skills and expertise in producing insightful reports and insights for the Executive and Board.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to drive change with diplomacy, tact and discretion and to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels with respect and confidence.
  • Excellent time management skills, flexibility, and an ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
