Description

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of transactional accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger reconciliations. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader with a passion for process improvement, internal controls, and operational excellence.

Shared Services Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop the AP/AR team, including timecard review, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices and customer payments.
  • Resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal departments and external vendors/customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records and reconciliations, including cash and intercompany accounts.
  • Support the Accounting Manager and Controller with weekly cash forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within AP/AR functions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the monthly close process and audit preparation.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, with a strong background in AP/AR operations.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial systems (ERP experience preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor team members.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
