Description
The Shared Services Finance Director based in Milton Keynes will lead and oversee all financial operations within the shared services function, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously improve end-to-end finance processes, with a strong focus on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C), ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Deliver timely and reliable financial reporting to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Maintain high standards of service delivery to internal and external stakeholders, proactively resolving issues and fostering strong relationships.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams across finance, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation and automation to reduce manual effort and enhance scalability.
- Serve as a key liaison between finance operations and other departments, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.
Qualification & Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in finance operations, with deep expertise across P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and managing cross-functional operations at a regional or global level.
- Strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly advantageous.
