Senior Technology Manager – GBS IND – R

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of delivery on key programs from India
• Day to day people management and contributing into the defining the strategic direction of wealth management technology.
• Manage proficient techies on distributed tech stack: Java, .NET, Angular/React, Kafka, Cockroach DB, Spring boot.
• Collaborate with partner teams like production support and testing.
• Work with US and India teams to solve impediments during India hrs.
• Experience with Requirements Analysis and Documentation
• Work Experience in Agile methodology
• Good Communication Skills and experience working in a diverse team.

Qualification & Requirements

Education: B.E / B. Tech / MCA

Experience – 20+ years

Foundational Skills

• Should demonstrate strong tech experience.
• Candidate should establish experience in managing a wealth management function, preferably in a GCC setup.
• Deep Experience in Java or .NET Technologies
• Some experience on modern tech like KAFKA, Spark, Scala, AIML, GenAI.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology with proficient technology orientation
• Good Communication Skills and Experience working in a diverse team.

Desired Skills

• Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-location teams
• Some experience on mainframe Tech in COBOL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, IMS
• Excellent communication skills, motivated collaborator & strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to take on tasks independently and see them to completion
• Ability to work on a multi-tasking environment within a strict timeline
• Domain experience in Finance and Banking, Insurance and Retail.
• Candidates with previous experience in Merrill Lynch / BofA Investment banking domain knowledge platform preferred.
