Senior Team Manager Product Costing & Inventory Accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • As Senior Team Manager Product Costing & Inventory Accounting, you are responsible for overall lead of the workstream for around 30 European markets with up to 10 direct reports, including Team Manager(s), according to the company´s Our Behaviors and our Leadership principles, following internal and external compliance regulations
  • You oversee and monitor the teams and overall Product Costing & Inventory Accounting processes execution for all service-receiving countries
  • You are responsible to ensure that all accountabilities within countries in your scope of service are generated accurately, in due time, and cost-efficiently by the assigned employees.
  • You are contributing on new deployments for all related systems, and you are coordinating the handling and improvement of diverse ERP-systems and linked financial tools
  • You are responsible for the coordination month end and year end activities within the scope, collaboration and increasing exchange with different stakeholders
  • You are responsible for workload management and the management of escalations, in particular processes to help improve them, properly assign tasks, and define actions for issue resolution
  • You will work on projects and in the environment where we use targets to measure the service quality, ensuring process adherence in run mode

Qualification & Requirements

You should be a motivated finance expert and understanding of different functional areas, speak English language min. on a C1 level. You have min. 8 years of professional experience in Accounting-to-Reporting / Record-to-Report, Controlling or similar in an industrial Manufacturing environment or a Shared Services environment that interact with industrial Manufacturing processes. A minimum of 5 years Leadership experience is a must.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • A Master’s Degree in Finance and Accountancy or similar
  • Deep knowledge of ERP (SAP) and MS Office systems
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and manufacturing environment operations
  • Cross-functional knowledge and expertise in the area of finance and accounting
  • Excellent leadership skills in a complex environment with several stakeholders
  • Experience in successfully forming and leading a diverse team would be a strong asset
  • Strong communication, interaction and presentation skills within the national and international organization (within the local and international organization as well as to headquarters)
  • Analytical and innovative thinking scope
  • Intercultural competencies, ability to work in a team within international casted working groups
  • Ability and duty of self-education
