Description
As the Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the development team responsible for developing in-house products in the Order Tribe. Collaborating closely with Product Owner(s), Product Architect(s) and other DevOps teams you will need to understand the business needs, helping Product Architect(s) to convert those needs into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall engineering standards and roadmaps. Driving excellence in engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle in our Commerce IT landscape, will be important element of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Design Solutions: co-lead together with product architect the design and architecture of scalable Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions for enterprise-level implementations
- Code Review & Mentorship: conduct code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and establish best practices in coding, architecture, and testing
- Lead Integrations: manage the integration of external systems (e.g. front ends, global ERP, and other third-party services) into Dynamics 365 Commerce
- Testing: responsible for setting up and managing complex testing infrastructures for integrations and performance tests
- Performance Optimization: ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through identifying optimization, monitoring, diagnostics, and load testing
- Stakeholder Communication: collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analists and UX designers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualification & Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- deep understanding of Azure services, Dynamics 365 Commerce, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps
- expertise in C#, .NET, SQL/NoSQL databases, and API integrations
- advanced experience in testing methodologies, infrastructure setup, and performance tuning
- soft skills: Leadership, mentorship, collaboration with stakeholders, and decision-making skills.
