SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager reports directly to the General Manager, Business Improvement and is responsible for managing or contributing to projects of varying scale and complexity across a broad range or initiatives driven by legislation, information technology, and business process improvement reforms. The role is also responsible for leading a number of project resources within the Project Management Office, which can fluctuate depending on project requirements, to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Extensive experience in managing projects and business improvement initiatives with a demonstrated success record.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, meet strict timelines, exercise significant judgement and high-level analytical skills to examine and resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships and working cooperatively with senior staff and key stakeholders, to achieve key outcomes.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with using a range of project management frameworks, methodologies, principles and processes; as well as strategic planning processes and change management principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to and encourage a culture of teamwork, service delivery excellence and a shared responsibility for achieving results.
