Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Operational outlook on processing Payroll.
  • Responsible for payroll processing for the UK business
  • Managing three UK payroll systems from manual to automation.
  • Integration of three payroll systems
  • Stake holder engagement.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits and expenses functions.
  • Authorising accurate payroll & pension submissions.
  • Manage monthly end-to-end payroll processes
  • Data reconciliation
  • Act as the primary payroll contact, ensuring adherence to payroll deadlines and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations, pension requirements, and statutory payments.
  • Collaborate with shared services teams
  • Address payroll-related inquiries
  • An employee customer-focused approach.

Qualification & Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record who has experience of a matrix or similar businesses. You could manage a team, manage a complex payroll function from automation of seamless payroll to a more manual approach for some of the payroll processing. You will bring a solid understanding of UK payroll legislation – covering tax, pensions, and statutory payments – and familiarity with industry-specific agreements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Payroll at a senior level and be looking for a career with a business that can develop you to the next level. Our client is open to sector.

Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Excel skills are required, and CIPP or IAB qualifications are desirable.
