Description

We are looking for a Senior Payroll & HR Operations Manager (m/f/d) to further develop and strengthen our own payroll accounting team, as part of HR Holding, who also wants to shape the HR admin processes of the future.

Senior Payroll & HR Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Independent preparation, processing and control of monthly payroll accounting for our companies in Germany, taking into account all relevant legal provisions and company agreements.
  • Reporting and certification systems as well as processing correspondence with health insurance companies and authorities.
  • Contact person: for HR managers with regard to questions regarding labor, income tax and social security law.
  • Payroll and salary closing work and preparatory work (e.g. vacation and time off provision calculations) for the preparation of the annual balance sheet.
  • Management and collaboration on projects (e.g. IT system conversion) and optimization of the payroll system.
  • Possible assumption of personnel administration from entry to exit or administration and maintenance of personnel master data in the direction of setting up a shared service center.
  • Creating standard reports and evaluations.
  • Recruiting additional employees.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on payroll or accounting.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in payroll accounting, preferably with “SBS Lohn plus” knowledge.
  • Very good knowledge of German and basic English.
  • Solid knowledge of income tax and social security law as well as labor law.
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
  • Careful, structured and proactive way of working, willingness to learn and a high level of quality and responsibility awareness.
