Senior Manager, Records To Report – General Accounting

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and posting of month end Standard and ad-hoc journals in ERP (Example accruals, amortisations, adjustment etc.).
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Follow up on the balance sheet open items and clearing.
• Daily bank reconciliations and clearing. Identify open items and take it up with relevant Team to obtain closure before month end to ensure no open items after the closing
• Perform General Ledger close, Sub-system close, General Ledger interface activities during month end close according to pre-defined close calendar.
• Prepare monthly closing calendar and provide status of activities to internal management and clients.
• Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and Performing task with accuracy and timelines.
• Preparing various reports including Service Level Agreement / key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Working closely with other accounting teams, global process owners, and shared service centres to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement in the process.
• Understand the flow of accounting transaction – both upstream and downstream process with impact on books of accounts.
• Review of Forex Revaluation activities

Qualification & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree or PG in Finance – B.com / M.com / CA-Inter / MBA Finance

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Proven experience in reputed Captive/Outsourcing Record To Report Operations.
• Relevant work experience in RTR General Accounting profile.
• Team handling experience is mandatory.
• SAP ERP experience is mandatory.
• Workday ERP experience will be added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in MS excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions.
• Must be a positive and energetic team player.
