Description
This position requires a data-driven, process-focused, and governance-savvy Senior Manager to lead our global initiatives on business process standardization, documentation, and quality monitoring. This leadership role within the Shared Services team works in close collaboration with Global Business Process Management (GBPM) Owners at HQ, functional stakeholders, and Shared Services teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency of core enterprise processes.
Key Responsibilities
Process Documentation & Global Standardization
- Lead the development, alignment, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive, end-to-end process documentation (SOPs, process maps, RACI matrices, controls documentation).
- Ensure all Shared Services processes are mapped according to BPMN standards and aligned with HQ-owned global process frameworks.
- Govern document lifecycle: versioning, change control, periodic reviews, and archival to ensure real-time audit readiness.
Process Mining Deployment & Analytics
- Lead the implementation and scaling of process mining platforms (e.g., Celonis, Signavio ) to enable real-time process discovery, conformance checking, and automation targeting.
- Define and prioritize use cases for process mining in collaboration with GBPMs and business units.
- Translate process mining insights into concrete improvement actions, while establishing KPIs and tracking mechanisms to monitor success.
- Develop dashboards and root cause analyses to highlight inefficiencies, rework, and non-compliance in transactional flows
Process Governance & Risk Management
- Build and institutionalize a global process governance model—defining ownership, decision rights, documentation accountability, and review cadences.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure documented processes reflect control expectations and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all process changes follow defined governance protocols and are updated systematically across repositories.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Design and execute structured QA frameworks (e.g., walkthroughs, sample testing, control validations) to assess process adherence and maturity.
- Drive process standardization and global consistency by identifying local deviations, unnecessary complexity, or bottlenecks.
- Establish a process maturity model and lead periodic health checks and improvement planning with Shared Services leadership.
Change Enablement & Knowledge Transfer
- Facilitate process onboarding and training for Shared Services teams, leveraging documentation, visualizations, and mining-derived learning content.
- Act as the global custodian of process knowledge, ensuring availability, accessibility, and accuracy of policies and procedures.
- Support global rollout of new process standards or systems with appropriate documentation, readiness checks, and knowledge transfer.
Cross-functional Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the key liaison between Shared Services, HQ GBPM Owners, and Digital/IT teams to drive strategic alignment and implementation excellence.
- Collaborate with business units and functional leaders to adopt digital solutions that reinforce governance (e.g., automation, workflow controls).
Qualification & Requirements
Qualification & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in process governance, operational quality, shared services transformation, or process improvement in a global organization.
- Proven experience in deploying and using process mining platforms (e.g., Celonis, Signavio, UiPath Process Mining) is mandatory.
- Familiarity with ERP environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle), transactional process landscapes (e.g., P2P, R2R, O2C), and control frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO).
- Strong project and change management exposure, with experience in driving cross-functional transformation programs
Professional Skill Sets
- Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio, ARIS, Bizagi)
- Experience with process automation and monitoring tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, ServiceNow)
- Excellent data literacy—comfortable working with datasets, queries, and dashboards
- Skilled in root cause analysis, operational benchmarking, and performance reporting
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders globally
