As a Senior Manager of Product Development at Epicor, you will lead the design and modernization of enterprise services used across cloud-based products. You will drive the architectural vision for shared services, guiding the transition of legacy software into cloud-native solutions. This position offers the opportunity to lead one of Epicor’s most complex modernization projects, shaping how data meshes across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and directing the work of the product development team, ensuring clarity around priorities, goals, and execution strategies.
  • Leading the design and modernization of shared services, guiding how older software is transitioned into cloud-based solutions.
  • Providing technical leadership and strategic direction, ensuring scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Engaging in high-level technical discussions on architecture, development stacks, and platform design across multiple teams.
  • Recommending the development of software and tools for infrastructure, design, and platform optimization.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align shared services strategies with business goals.
  • Overseeing departmental policies, evaluating performance, and contributing to budgeting and strategic planning.

Qualification & Requirements

What You Will Likely Bring

  • Strong technical knowledge of .NET, Java, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, TypeScript, and Python to facilitate deep architectural discussions.
  • Experience leading architecture teams and influencing enterprise software design decisions.
  • Broad knowledge of multiple development stacks, with an ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Cloud expertise, ideally Azure, but experience with AWS or GCP is also valuable.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale modernization efforts, including the transition of legacy systems to cloud environments.
  • Ability to set strategic direction for enterprise-wide shared services and data mesh architecture.
  • Leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to define and execute long-term cloud strategies.
