Description
This position reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement Systems & Analytics will be accountable for the operations of centers with connected processes, efficient operations, effective governance, and trusted data.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire a team with the right talent and lead them effectively
- Build a global operating model to support in scope processes
- Create all required processes, procedures and metrics
- Recruit, onboard and train new team members
- Lead knowledge transfer from current team members of Baxter Healthcare
- Actively oversee day-to-day transitional tasks.
- Develop KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with the Data & Analytics team
- Present metrics and KPIs to stakeholders
- Support end users of Procurement processes and systems Globally.
- Assisting with the development, testing and implementation of new technologies and upgrades of existing technologies, including ERP and Coupa upgrades & electronic catalogues.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team to ensure customer service standards are met.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to ensure the team is providing the best service to our end user community.
- Managing escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Identify issues, analyze the root cause, and develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
Qualification & Requirements
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA desirable
- Minimum 10 years’ operational and people management experience in procurement shared services
- Experience setting up and leading global team members
- Experience managing global and diverse stakeholder interests and expectations
- High level technical aptitude. Engineering, Electronic or other Technical training.
- High level data and analytics knowledge
- Solutions driven with ability to think strategically and globally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
- Risk management skillset with ability to drive innovative solutions and problem-solving analysis and resolution.
- Strong project management skills to drive actions to closure.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving, continuous improvement, corrective and preventative action.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management
Preferred:
- Experience in a regulated and highly technical environment preferred, such as experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, OEM, and/or Medical Device industries.
- Fluency in other European languages
