Description

The Senior Manager of Shared Services will lead and oversee the company’s Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Billing operations. This person will play a critical role in driving automation, efficiency, and improved controls while helping shape the future of the finance function during a period of high-impact change.

This is a key leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys bringing structure to evolving finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the shared services functions: AR, AP, and Billing
  • Design and implement process improvements to drive automation, consistency, and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics (KPIs), and internal controls
  • Support and help drive the successful implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP across finance operations
  • Manage and mentor team leads and staff to build a high-performing, service-driven team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and senior leadership to align shared services with enterprise goals
  • Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and reporting related to shared services
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance operations or shared services, with leadership responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and shared service technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Track record of successful change management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience managing KPIs, SLAs, and service quality metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus
