Description

The HR Specialist in HR COE Services VOIS India, (global capability center) focuses upon providing HRBP Services for global onshore business functions in line with HR procedures.

The role requires an experienced People Manager with deep expertise in HR concepts and processes who can balance between enabling a team of HR Specialists and operate as a subject matter expert for a sensitive HR process.

Key Responsibilities

As a team leader:

  • Responsible for developing team’s functional knowledge and technical skills.
  • Responsible for consistently meeting operational KPIs through quality service delivery of HR processes.
  • Promotes best practice HR processes, delivers cost saving initiatives and resource optimization targets.
  • Empowers the team to be consultative with customers on day-to-day duties and be accountable for end-to-end activity till closure.
  • Ensures operational governance through regular check-ins with third line HR partners in the market, manage first level escalations and stakeholder management that enables team to focus on execution excellence.
  • Ensures team’s adherence to service delivery model, upkeeping of documentation, service continuity through training and back-ups and supports audits.
  • Relentlessly influences team and partners to do things differently and drives continuous improvements in process simplification and service delivery.

As an SME:

  • Accountable for service delivery of one or more sensitive / complex HR processes to our HR partners with end-to-end ownership.
  • Accountable for delivery of HR projects and initiatives coming from HR COE areas & HR Services strategies.

General:

  • Collaborate with cross functions in VOIS & Vodafone central teams to support customer needs.
  • Collaborate across HRBP Services function to promote best practices and enable standardization in service portfolio.
  • Strong focus on employee and partner experience at various touch points of service delivery.
  • Prepare and present business review presentations to internal and key international stakeholders.
  • Builds solid collaboration with onshore HRBPs.
  • Support transition of new services from onsite to offshore through complete knowledge building, documentation, standardizing its service delivery, KPI measures, quality controls and governance.

Qualification & Requirements

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • 10+ years experience in HR and 2+ years in team leadership or supervisory role.
  • Operational excellence and result oriented to drive service KPIs and business objectives.
  • Excellent HR domain knowledge, keen to understand core business, structure & its functioning across geographies.
  • Excellent effective verbal & written communication; adept at working with mid & senior stakeholders, internal & international.
  • Strong analytical, critical, quantitative analysis and logical thinking with a solution mindset.
  • Proactive, problem solving, prioritizes and demonstrates robust understanding of business needs and empathetic customer management.
  • Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results/change.
  • Would think like an HR partner and deliver as per global shared service delivery model.
  • Passionate to continuously improve service delivery and process excellence.
  • Strong understanding of HR organization & employee data and maintain data confidentiality.
  • Flexible to work as per onshore market shifts and in hybrid working (home & office) model.
  • Excellent skills to work on Microsoft products – word, excel, power point, etc.,
  • Power BI & SuuccessFactors experience is an added advantage
  • MBA or postgraduate studies in HR (preferred).
