Description

The Senior Manager of HR Shared Services will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic roadmap to build an effective HR Shared Services model. This role will focus on documenting all critical HR processes and continuously improving them to ensure quality, consistency, and self-service capabilities that enhance team member experience while mitigating compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop HR Shared Services Roadmap: Create and execute a strategic plan for establishing a robust HR Shared Services model that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Document HR Processes: Thoroughly document all HR critical processes, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and maintain a cycle of continuous enhancement to optimize HR operations.
  • Quality and Consistency: Establish standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, consistent HR services across the organization.
  • Self-Service Models: Develop self-service mechanisms that empower team members to access HR services efficiently and independently.
  • Compliance Risk Mitigation: Implement processes and controls to mitigate compliance risks, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business leaders, to align shared services initiatives with organizational needs.
  • People Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage and develop an HR Shared Services team, ensuring high performance and continuous learning. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded. Partner with cross-functional teams to support complex team member inquiries and cases related to payroll, benefits, and policy interpretation.
  • HR Calendar: Manage and coordinate the annual HR calendar (performance management, merit, open enrollment, etc.) with the COEs/HRBPs to ensure alignment and ensure alignment of any system touchpoints needed and appropriate workback timeframes for testing, configuration, etc.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and coordinate HR Technology vendor management and invoice processing

Qualification & Requirements

Experience, Education, Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR operations and shared services.

  • Skills: Strong project management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and best practices in shared services.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of driving change and improving HR service delivery.
