Senior Manager, Group Digital Platform Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and development of advanced multi-system GenAI application solutions and services
• Develop and design user interactions on GenAI application, develop servers and databases for application functionality and coding for mobile platforms, test, and deploy mobile applications for both tablet and mobile
• Act like a domain area expert in guiding and supervise other team members to write specialised code – although importantly, the Senior Full Stack Developer must be familiar with and highly skilled in all aspects of web and application development
• Provide inputs on GenAI application development roadmap, working as a senior dev lead, or as an individual on specific large-scale projects related to FWD GenAI applications
• Provide architecture design of complex multi-system solutions and services as well as carry out Mobile, web and server-side development
• Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
• Manage cross functional stakeholders across FWD Countries and Group C-Suite Executives
• Work closely with product owner and UX/UI designer to build features that delight our users/customers to create an impactful user/customer experience
• Design and develop APIs, create servers and databases for functionality to ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile and tablet
• Influence decision making in delivering solutions that will be used across multiple platforms and languages across the APAC region focusing on seller experience
• Manage cross-regional project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• See through a project from conception to finished product.
• Stay abreast of developments in applications and programming languages in order to meet both technical and stakeholders needs.
• Experience in implementing tracking and analytics with Google Analytics tagging and setup
  Drive cross-functional GenAI initiatives across multiple teams for different countries
• Explore latest GenAI technologies such as LLM, RAG etc
• Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
• Work closely with product and design to build features
• Make data driven decisions
• Collaborate closely with our development and product teams in our fast-paced delivery environment
• Design automation pipelines required for GenAI enterprise scalability for multiple projects and teams
• Good understand of technologies and experience in building a highly scalable and fault tolerant system

Delivery

• Delivery of high-quality reusable applications and source code, with adherence to Group architecture, security and coding standards.

Relationships

• Ensure effective collaboration between IT, vendors, development teams and users.
• Establish good working relationships (both Internal and External) with:
• Project Managers
• Business areas/users relevant to the project / work request being managed. E.g. Product, Finance, Customer Services, IT staff, 3rd Party Vendors

Systems and Controls

• Adhere to QA standards and make recommendations (e.g. process improvements).
• Document and implement lessons learned.
• Implement appropriate measurements and metrics for management reporting.

DECISION MAKING

• Review and design architecture proposal for the seller applications being developed
• Deliver solutions that will be used across multiple platforms and languages across the APAC region focusing on seller experience
• Manage cross-regional project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Qualification & Requirements

• Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstratable experience in implementing GenAI solutions at enterprise level
  Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years + of full stack software development experience
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (including Python)
• Proven experience with developing front web applications, native mobile apps and integration with Headless CMS platforms and API services
• Startup experience preferred
• Expertise in building mobile application using React Native
• Expertise in building secure, scalable RESTFul web services
• Experience with agile development methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience delivering multi-lingual/internationalized solutions

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 8-10+ years of full stack software development experience
• Generative AI
• AWS and Azure
• Identity and Access Management
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform and any knowledge around containerisation, orchestration, service mesh
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Javascript, Python for back end applications
• Strong hands-on knowledge of front end technologies
• Would be valuable to have Mobile technology: Android, iOS (Swift / Objective C)
  Experience in implementing tracking and analytics with Google Analytics tagging and setup
• Experience with implementing and supporting Google Optimize AB testing framework on web applications
