To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Manager – GBS Procurement in Coimbatore, India.

A strategic leader responsible for driving procurement efficiency, fostering supplier partnerships, and optimizing global supply chain processes. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and foster a resilient supply chain.

Senior Manager – GBS Procurement

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies effectiveness that align with organizational Vision and Goals
  • Lead team in delivering functional objectives, goals and reporting in alignment with internal and external stake holders.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate with inventory management teams to keep optimum inventory level.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on procurement performance and supply chain metrics.
  • Work on shortage management with buyers, provide assistance in resolving Accounts Payable, warehouse and RTV challenges, follow-up to ensure PO’s are placed on time, there are no past due orders, work on POAN action items.
  • Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes.
  • Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.
  • Drive Process improvements and have succession plan in place for all critical resources.
  • Back-up to Operational Regional Directors
  • Drive voice of customer improvement themes in alignment with Customer feedback
  • Align and Drive productivity targets for the Team.
  • Give presentations to the Top Management w.r.t the Business and drive QBR reviews with Sites.
  • Drive Standardization of reports and processes across Teams
  • Consolidated, Automate and Eliminate reports and processes.
  • Ensure participation in BCP drill and work on continues improvement of BCP plan.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement and supply chain professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Drive employee engagement and communication programs (quarterly one to one meeting with each employee, skip level meetings, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certifications (CPSM, CSCP, etc.) is preferred.
  • 18+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on global operations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex procurement projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
  • Analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team building and performance management.
  • Should be open to any shift.
