Description

As Senior Manager, GBS – ATR Global Excellence, you will be a key member of the GBS Account to Report organization, driving operational excellence, standardization and transformation across ATR processes globally. You will report and support the ATR Global Process Leader in defining the strategic roadmap, lead cross-functional initiatives, implement best practices and ensure consistency in financial processes. Your role will span policy development, tool optimization and the identification of GBS expansion opportunities, with a strong focus on efficiency and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Transformation

  • Collaborate closely with the ATR Global Process Lead to develop and execute the ATR strategy within GBS
  • Provide thought leadership on process innovation, future operating models and transformation priorities
  • Analyze industry benchmarks and internal performance data to recommend improvements that align with company objectives

Service Delivery & Stakeholder Management

  • Design, lead and implement standard global ATR processes, templates, best practices, and technologies across business units and regions
  • Drive harmonization efforts in performance analysis, management reporting, variance analysis and visibility to key financial metrics
  • Support and maintain global process documentation, SOPs and the training ecosystem (onboarding and continuous development).

GBS Expansion & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and assess opportunities for further migration of ATR activities into the GBS model
  • Support transition planning and operational readiness for new GBS deployments
  • Deploy GBS Technology and Process improvements globally across non-GBS portfolio
  • Assist continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

Policy Design & Governance

  • Define and implement global ATR policies and ensure alignment with corporate financial policies and US GAAP;
  • Establish controls and governance frameworks to monitor adherence and compliance to ATR processes;
  • Partner with Controllership, Internal Audit, & Internal Controls to ensure consistency across policy execution.

Technology, Tools & Ownership

  • Act as a functional owner (when applicable) or co-owner of ATR tools (e.g. Blackline, SAP S4 Hana, SAP R3 (“ECC”), Central Finance);
  • Collaborate with IT, Digital Finance and external vendors on tool enhancements and issue resolution;
  • Champion automation and digital solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload;

Qualification & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) or Finance certification (CFPA, CFA, CA, CPA, CMA) are plus;

Experience

  • 10+ years in ATR, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Controllership, Process Excellence, Process Management, Transformation or any Finance related area;
  • Proven experience in managing ATR processes and service delivery within a GBS or shared services environment;
  • Strong background in leading global initiatives regarding process design, preferably within a multinational food or consumer goods company;

Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working in a matrixed organization;
  • Good leadership and project management skills with a track record of successfully driving process improvements;
  • Proficiency in excel and ATR systems (e.g. Oracle [HFM], Blackline, etc.), ERPs (e.g., SAP ECC & S4 Hana, Central Finance) and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau);
  • Expertise in process automation, digital transformation, and lean methodologies is a strong asset.
  • Focused on standardization, efficiency, and quality in service delivery;
