Description

As the Senior Manager, Financial Crime Compliance Assurance, you will lead a team providing assurance services to support the Group in the effective and efficient management of financial crime risks and obligations. This will mean working closely with key stakeholders and colleagues to drive effective outcomes and provide financial crime related assurance activities across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a highly effective team driving effective FCC assurance outcomes
  • Design, implement and execute assurance plans to assess the effectiveness of financial crime processes, systems and controls
  • Work with the business and FCC to identify appropriate corrective actions to address control gaps, improvement opportunities and compliance incidents
  • Contribute to the design of FCC policies and frameworks that support better customer outcomes, as well as input into the successful delivery of FCC initiatives
  • Maintain a focus on productivity and continuous improvement, including the development of innovative approaches to providing assurance
  • Forge strong relationships with members of the FCC community, as well as other internal stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and coaching to direct report(s) to facilitate ongoing development

Qualification & Requirements

  • Proven experience leading an effective team of assurance, audit or risk professionals, preferably with exposure to the financial services industry
  • Thorough understanding of the financial crime regulatory framework with deep technical knowledge and expertise of AML / CTF and Sanctions obligations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with proven experience to influence senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes for stakeholders and our customers
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Experience conducting data analytics and technology control reviews will also be looked upon favourably.
