Description
As the Senior Manager, Finance Shared Services, you will play a critical role in enhancing our client’s end-to-end financial processes. This includes analyzing and improving accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, and sustainability reporting and risk management processes. You will also be responsible for reporting on financial performance, developing key performance indicators, and implementing new processes and systems. Your work will directly contribute to our client’s success and drive continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Document and evaluate current finance processes to identify opportunities for improvement based on industry best practices
- Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes, including P2P and R2R cycles
- Analyze shared service metrics, prepare financial performance reports, and develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks
- Oversee the implementation of new processes and system upgrades, ensuring smooth integration with existing workflows, and collaborate with IT for optimal solutions
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial processes, and lead ESG reporting efforts, ensuring compliance and timely disclosure of relevant metrics
Qualification & Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience of relevant experience within Shared Services
- CPA designated
- Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution industry is an asset
- Proficiency in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, full cycle accounting, and audit and controls
- Experience in systems implementation, process automation, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in systems such as Pronto, Cognos, and OneStream (or other mid-tier systems)
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
