Description

Responsible for conducting and delivering high value financial analysis as well as developing AIA’s financial plans and budgets to facilitate management decision making.

Responsible for overseeing core financial functions to support the company’s strategic and operational goals. This role covers financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and team leadership.

Senior Manager-Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial reporting and compliance: Ensures accurate and timely completion of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and relevant standards, manages statutory and internal audits, tax compliance, and formulates local management reports. In addition, establish policies and ensure staff training on financial matters.
  • Strategy and business planning: The role involves overseeing the budgeting and business planning process, working with various function heads to meet Group Finance timelines, and preparing monthly management reports analyzing variances between actual, budget, and forecast figures.
  • Tax management: Handles all tax-related matters including filings, reporting, and liaising with tax agents and regulatory bodies concerning direct and indirect taxes such as withholding tax and SST.
  • Team leadership and communication: Responsibilities include motivating and developing the finance team, assisting the Head of Finance and Support Services in business communications, and maintaining good working relationships internally with Group Office and business partners, as well as externally with regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.
