With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernize one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are passionate about advancing Bundeswehr IT through challenging digitalization projects and thus want to contribute to Germany’s security. 

The PoD1 Collaboration department, as part of Shared Service Delivery, offers our customers solutions that optimally support the digitalization of their business processes and enable users to collaborate and complete their tasks effectively and efficiently. To this end, we provide powerful and cost-effective groupware, conferencing, and telephony services based on modern technologies (e.g., cloud) from the respective market leaders.

Senior IT Service Manager Workflow-Applikationen

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the implementation of contractually compliant and timely service provision as well as the further development of workflow solutions (based on PEGA)
  • Assuming end-to-end service management responsibility for workflow solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, including technical management of a virtual service team
  • Participation in the definition and further development of the service based on customer requirements and CSI measures
  • Assuming budget responsibility for the service during the operational phase, including financial and investment planning and implementation of risk management
  • Responsibility for service-related communication with internal and external stakeholders as well as participation in projects

Qualification & Requirements

  • Completed studies or comparable training in the field of business and/or computer science
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment as well as several years of professional leadership, service management and project management experience
  • Very good commercial understanding and experience in the areas of license management, cost controlling, and quotation and calculation.
  • Very good knowledge of workflow systems such as PEGA, certification as PEGA Business or System Architect is an advantage
  • Good communication and leadership skills, a sense of responsibility, willingness to change, and decision-making and assertiveness
  • Fluent written and spoken German skills
