Senior IT Architect – GBS

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise-class software solutions to support GBS functions (e.g., Procurement, Legal, Trade Compliance, Ops and Sustainability).
• Collaborate with multi-functional IT and business teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Define integration strategies using enterprise level platforms and native APIs to support seamless data exchange.
• Support modernization and optimization of integrated, global software solutions
• Provide technical expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and server architectures.
• Guide the adoption and scaling of analytics and BI platforms like Power BI, Databricks Unity Catalogue and other tools.
• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with data protection and system performance guidelines.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendors for strategic fit and value realization across GBS platforms

Qualification & Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of dynamic experience in IT architecture, with a focus on enterprise application and data integration.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4 HANA, Oracle EBS/Cloud, and SaaS application ecosystems.
• Some experience with SaaS platforms supporting Procure-to-Pay, Contract Lifecycle Management and global trade compliance software.
• Proficiency in SQL server infrastructure architecture concepts
• Solid grasp of cloud-based analytics tools such as Power BI, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience crafting and implementing scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Architect) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Solid grasp of Agile and ITIL practices.
