Description

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Manager to play a significant role in the strategic transformation of our infrastructure from its current to its future state. Helping us modernise and think radically about the role of technology in the future of the organisation.

Senior Infrastructure Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the infrastructure and networks, both on premise (physical and virtual) and cloud.
  • Ensure that infrastructure and systems are secure, available, cost efficient and continuously improved.
  • Work with the wider Digital and Technology team and stakeholders (internal and external) to scope and deliver technical projects.
  • Manage and mentor junior colleagues, ensuring that we build, document, manage, support and maintain solutions according to business need.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organisation’s technical plans and policies.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Proven experience in infrastructure management, including network, servers, storage, and virtualisation.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure technologies, and security principles.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure, and experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Proficient in infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and to specification
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a modern and strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
