Description

As a Senior Enterprise Transformation Professional – Process Engineer within Humana’s Shared Services organization supporting the Insurance Segment, you will manage complex, cross-functional process engagements to deliver sustainable business outcomes. Leveraging structured methodologies and business agility, you will drive efficiency and high-quality results. Your role requires independent analysis of operations, root cause identification, and cost-benefit assessments to inform strategic investment decisions and identify process improvement opportunities. Collaborating across teams, you will influence accountability, foster continual improvement, and align people, processes, and technology with organizational objectives. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to Communities of Practice, guide transformation practices, and provide strategic consultation to senior leaders.

Serve as a Senior Enterprise Transformation Professional – Process Engineer supporting Shared Services for the Insurance Segment. Collaborate with leaders across the organization to define, evaluate, and drive strategic initiatives. Lead complex consulting engagements, report outcomes to strategy leader and executive stakeholders, and provide ongoing strategic guidance across multiple initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to shape scope, manage engagements, and deliver results that align with business objectives.

Senior Enterprise Transformation Professional – Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and are responsible for managing smaller projects under the supervision of a Black Belt.
  • Apply understanding of Six Sigma (DMAIC) to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Build trusting relationships with business areas and leadership to improve member and provider experiences.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to engagement teams to drive to the results sought by sponsors
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues.
  • Demonstrate alignment with Humana’s values and culture.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, including effective oral and written communication.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to support project activities.
  • Travel may be once a quarter for a week however dictated based on business needs

Qualification & Requirements

Essentials 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ process engineering experience in a corporate or consulting environment
  • Green Belt Six Sigma certification
  • Knowledge in Six Sigma, process improvement methodologies, and tools
  • Experience with management consulting methodologies and frameworks
  • Presentation skills with executive presence and emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous programs focusing on business objectives
  • Strategic thinking, execution, decision-making, thought leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with multiple participants of varying levels capturing relevant information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Desirables

  • Experience in healthcare services and/or Shared Services organizations
  • Change management knowledge
  • Knowledge of Lean Agile practices; Lean Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience with digital collaboration platforms for virtual brainstorming and decision-making.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
