Description
Although you will be an individual contributor in this role, you will take on a pivotal leadership position as the Pod Lead for Order to Cash (O2C) within our GBS Agile Operating Model. You will orchestrate delivery across multiple value teams—spanning both transformation-focused Scrum teams and operational Kanban teams—ensuring seamless coordination, clear prioritization, and alignment to enterprise-level goals. Your work will be critical in setting and cascading OKRs, driving cross-functional collaboration, and enabling agile delivery across the O2C landscape. While you won’t directly manage performance, you will play a central role in unlocking value, removing delivery obstacles, and ensuring continuous improvement across the pod.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and overseeing delivery across all O2C value teams, ensuring alignment with priorities and quarterly goals.
- Leading the prioritisation of initiatives to balance transformation efforts with operational efficiency.
- Defining and cascading measurable OKRs to align teams with business outcomes.
- Supporting Agile ways of working through appropriate use of Scrum and Kanban methods.
- Identifying and managing dependencies and risks to maintain momentum and remove delivery blockers.
Qualification & Requirements

- Experience leading transformation initiatives and delivering process improvements across commercial and finance teams in a matrixed environment.
- Practical experience working with Agile delivery teams, including prioritisation, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a proven ability to align stakeholders across business units, enabling functions, and technology.
- Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Commercial, and Digital teams to drive end-to-end process enhancements aligned with Astellas values.
Preferred Experience
- Certified in Agile or product-based delivery methodologies (e.g., ICAgile), with practical application in cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with O2C tools and platforms including SAP, Salesforce, and HighRadius to support process efficiency and automation.
- Background in global business services (GBS), shared services, or outsourced delivery environments, with a focus on scalable operations.
- Strong understanding of data-driven performance metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), cash forecasting, and customer satisfaction indicators.
