Senior Director/ Head of Region, GCC

Key Responsibilities

• The overall management and leadership for the assigned region within GCC India
• Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team on variety of projects
• Provide mentorship to team leads and Heads of various disciplines
• Growth of assigned region within GCC India, its management and optimum utilisation
• Ensuring long term relationships are maintained with the lead region base through excellent delivery
• Contributing to the strategic direction of WSP
• Monitoring internal client satisfaction, budget management and reporting processes
• Fostering a positive work environment by mentoring, supporting and committing to the professional development of all members of this business.
• Leadership and management of the discipline team(s) to overview on the ground operations to ensure they are fit for purpose which includes project delivery, quality assurance, personnel, technical training, H&S training etc.
• Drive the recruitments for assigned region within GCC India, taking decisions in consultation with Lead country
• Liaise regularly, frequently, effectively with regional business sectors leads for budget
• Liaise regularly, frequently, effectively with business sectors leads re input to winning bids (support)

Qualification & Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• Candidate must have 15+ years of work experience. Of this around 5 years must have been at a management/leadership level
• From consulting background with offshoring experience
• Possess a strong sense of conviction and ability to influence multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated the ability to lead and build a team of over 300 professionals
• Must be a dynamic leader with a go getter attitude
• Good leadership and management skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Must have experience in multidisciplinary projects
• Robust understanding of client management and client satisfaction
• Project confidence, optimism and energy to encourage people on what they can achieve
• Be practical in the implementation of objectives
• Possess an international outlook/global perspective and be willing and able to travel as business needs demands.

Desired Skills

• Prior working experience with GCC Set up for different regions would be added advantage
• Prior work experience with top tier multinational companies.
