Senior Director, Head of IT

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage effectively with both regional leadership in China and central IT executives, setting clear expectations and ensuring alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Translate business strategy into an executable IT roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that drive competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring minimal downtime and exceptional support for end users across agencies.
  • Manage local Field Service teams and other operational IT groups to uphold and exceed service level agreements.
  • Lead multiple, large-scale digital transformation projects, including ERP/financial systems, mobile and web solutions, and other productivity enhancements.
  • Understand and articulate the business rationale for both Finance and Non-Finance applications, ensuring IT solutions align with agency and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with respective IT teams to gather requirements, track progress, and maintain transparent communication with regional leadership.
  • Ensure all IT systems and practices meet compliance standards, support audit remediation, and maintain robust security protocols.
  • Continuously review and improve IT operational procedures to align with global directives and emerging best practices.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with a proven track record in leadership roles across both operational IT and application delivery within multinational or IT Shared Services organizations
  • Extensive experience in managing digital transformation initiatives, complex implementations, and cross-functional project teams under tight business constraints
  • Strong technical knowledge across IT infrastructure, networks, databases, system integration, and various enterprise applications (including ERP and financial systems)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, IT service management, and project management methodologies with proven success in program and project delivery
