Description
Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit, Pricing Administration, and Finance Business Excellence (Lean) functions. This role is a key driver of the company’s financial transformation agenda—designing the operating model, optimizing global resourcing, and delivering world‑class service to business units across the enterprise.
This leader will play a central role in executing the company’s outsourcing strategy, overseeing the transition of critical FBS processes to our offshore partner and ensuring strong governance, service quality, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), the Senior Director will champion standardization, digital enablement, and a culture of excellence across the Controllership organization, positioning FBS as a high‑performing, scalable, and efficient global capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership to the Finance Business Services (FBS) organization, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit, Pricing Administration, T&E, and related shared services functions while driving operational excellence, service quality, and strong internal controls.
- Lead the global outsourcing (BPO) strategy for AP, AR, Credit, and related processes, ensuring strong partnership, service delivery, and alignment with global FBS initiatives.
- Continue the multi-year transformation of the company’s order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes, targeting best‑in‑class benchmarks, end‑to‑end visibility, and improved customer (internal and external) and vendor experiences.
- Drive process harmonization, standardization, and technology enablement by aligning internal teams and the BPO partner on both the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for all FBS functions, driving accountability with the offshore partner to ensure timely issue resolution, consistent service delivery, and adherence to performance and control expectations.
- Lead and develop the Finance Business Excellence (FBE) team, embedding a Lean mindset across the entire Controllership organization in building a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination.
- Ensure the FBE team drives critical CAO‑sponsored projects and transformation initiatives, delivering against department priorities, improving process outcomes, and strengthening governance and control structures.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Accounting, Finance, Sales, IT, and cross-functional leaders, ensuring timely communication of issues, enabling rapid decision-making, and support business priorities.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment through clear policies, documented procedures, and ongoing monitoring to ensure SOX compliance.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities to expand our offshore partner’s scope of services by assessing feasibility, value creation, cost optimization, risk, and control implications; provide recommendations and build business cases for transitioning additional processes to the BPO model.
- Establish KPIs for critical functions, set out clear goals for team at the beginning of the year, and measure the team’s performance against the KPIs.
