Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr Accounting Manager to join our corporate team.

Senior Accounting Manager – Shared Service (Revenue/ Percent Complete/ Job costing)

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of month end close around revenue recognition, inventory and job costing
  • Drives automation and best practices around revenue recognition process
  • Oversees Sr Accountant, Revenue and Job Costing and Inventory Accountant
  • Works closely with finance and operations team to ensure estimates are supported and recorded in accordance with US GAAP
  • Leadership role in supporting the Company’s accelerated month-end close initiative
  • Lead in all general accounting matters aligned with Financial Planning & Analysis counterpart
  • Manage the month-end close process; analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy
  • Oversee journal entry and account reconciliation review and approval
  • Experience managing a team; ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Coordinate, compile and review requests for interim review and year-end external audit
  • Support Integration team with system efficiencies and process improvements in Business Central (ERP) and other supporting software
  • Ability to efficiently handle ambiguity and change; able to act as a change agent
  • Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet pressing deadlines
  • Flexible and willing to adapt as priorities change and meet commitments by deadlines
  • Readiness to embrace and drive process improvements/efficiencies
  • Use of advanced Excel skills for data analysis; efficiently summarizing and presenting information towards resolution

Qualification & Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ in progressive Finance/ Accounting to include job cost experience in either Construction industry or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 10+ years of progressive Finance/Accounting experience
  • Experience managing a team and/or directing activities of others in a project capacity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in accounting or related discipline
  • Experience in various ERP systems with strong internal controls a plus
