Senior Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for day-to-day account management and retention of Providence Health Plan’s largest and most complex accounts. The Senior Account Manager provides strategic account leadership and oversight; annual renewal negotiations; report delivery, data analysis and recommendations; annual contract review; consulting with producers and groups; proactive strategic development and deployment; and opportunity identification to expand Providence Health Plan services, relationships, and brand. The Senior Account Manager must balance member and group retention with appropriate loss ratio, NOI targets, and other funding recommendations. The assigned groups include large employers, national accounts, associations and trusts. The expectation is that most of the time the Senior Account Manager will be working in the field directly with Clients. Work on site at our offices will be required two to three times a month for meetings.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7 years experience working in insurance, TPA industry or plan administration for a self-funded employer required; 10 years preferred
  • Successful experience preparing and delivering presentations to audiences of any size
  • Experiencing managing groups of all sizes and sophistication
